THE GHaGHras

LATEST | Ghaghras

Lehenga or Ghagra is a form of skirt which is long, embroidered and pleated. It is worn as the bottom portion of a choli. It is secured at the waist and leaves the lower back and midriff bare.

The Ghaghras are made of a number of fabrics such as SilkCottonKhadi,GeorgetteCrapeNetSatinBrocade and Chiffon.Even though designers have successfully used the various kinds of fabrics for making the lehenga, silk is still the most preferred fabric.

Festive attire

The lehenga choli is the favourite female apparel worn during festivals, weddings or special events in India. This is due to traditions as well as of the fact that it is available in a number of fabrics with many different decorative choices.Traditionally the sari and the lehenga choli are the most popular garments for the bride in India. But it is a common bridal attire mostly in North India. It is the traditional wear of Garba ( most famous festival of Gujarat).

Decorative stitching

Apart from the fabric, decorative stitching patterns also play a role. Lehengas come with a wide variety of decoration and embroidery work like GotaPhulkari,ShishaChikankariZariZardoziNakshiKundan, etc. For festivals like Navratri, the ethnic Shisha embroidery is popular with a bit of patchwork. For formal wear and weddings, the embroidery is heavier in pearls, silk, sequins and zari.

Kutch embroidery is an evolving expression of the craft and textile traditions of the Rabaris, a nomadic tribe in Gujarat.Kutch work is unique in the sense that a net is woven on a cloth using thread. The net is then filled in using the same thread by intricate interlocking stitches. The patterns are usually built around geometric shapes. This embroidery follows its own traditional design logic and juxtaposition of colours and motifs. The Rohanas tribals of Kutch specialise in skirt work. The Sodhas use a geometric style for their embroidery. The Garacia Jats are experts in tiny embroidery on the yoke, which intermingles with red, orange, blue and green threads. The Dhanetah Jats love embroidering broad pear-shaped mirrors using orange, black, yellow and red in chain stitch.

LEGENDARY CARS OF FURIOUS 6

Those Cars without Which Furious 6 Was Not-possible

The truth is, that the cars are one of the  vital part of status and fashion don't start as anything sacred. In fact, many of them are the same miserable rustbuckets you've run away from after answering a Craigslist ad.Cars that would never be fit for restoration, because they'll be so extensively modified for their excellent performance and use.

Here's an incredible thing I learned from the people who made  Furious 6 they used between 300 and 400 cars. Of all those cars, this intimate little group is all that's left. With those sort of numbers, it's amazing cars are still excited to land roles in these movies....

Mark I EscortI'm not gonna lie: this one was my personal favorite. I've always loved the original Escorts, and this is just a really nicely sorted example. Seven of these little fighters were built for the movie. These little Escorts are a far cry from the boring econoboxes we got here — these are gutsy little hoonmobiles. This is one of the few cars used in the movie not to have the preferred LS3. It uses Ford's Kent engine, which we in the US enjoyed in our Pintos, where they helped outrun the balls of flame.

Dodge Challenger SRT: The new cars have less done to them, and cars from affiliated companies even less. So this one is close to stock, save for locking diffs, and a huge emergency brake handle used to get the thing sideways on demand. Dodge should just go ahead and make that a regular option.

Jensen Interceptor: As you can probably guess from this car and the Escort, part of the movie takes place in London. Each car is designed for a specific character, and this car was for a woman who is British, and also a big Mopar fan. With that in mind, what's better than an Interceptor, the British car with a Chrysler engine? Also, this character has amnesia, so I'm not sure how that works in. Probably a Lucas electrics thing.

Stock-looking BMW M5: The BMWs used in the movie are interesting because they went through 16 or 17 of them. The only real mod is welded diffs, and not all were true M5s — about half were regular 5s faked with badging. Also, it seems BMWs' traction control and driving nannies can be disabled via some liberal pruning of the fuse box, something many other cars don't allow. The BMWs aren't shown in a particularly positive light, so there was no BMW sponsorship for all those cars.

Plymouth Charger/Superbird: This Superbird is quite striking in its deep maroon paint, though it almost didn't make it in the movie. Originally pitched for the previous film, the studio felt it was too ridiculous looking and felt like a "kid's toy." Duh, that's why it's awesome, studio dipshits. Oh, and while it may actually be a Dodge Charger Daytona, everyone there just called it the "Superbird."

Sexy Siren Look:

All it takes is a sensuous saree in chiffon or Georgette. Pick up a slightly transparent one for extra dose of sexiness. Black is always a hit!

Pay extra attention while getting your blouse, shirts and pants stitched. This is gonna decide where you stand in the sexiness-meter. Go for spaghetti straps, sheer fabric, knots and more.

Red lippie, a rich wine colour also works great. After you are done with the basic steps of make-up, like primer, concealer and foundation, apply some bronzer on your cheeks. Make bronzer look sexier:

Types of GOWN's

GOWN's

A long loose flowing garment, such as a robe or nightgown.
A long, usually formal dress for a woman.
Long, lightweight, loose, undivided garments which cannot be fully opened at the front. Includes both indoor and outdoor garments....

Ball gown

ball gown is the most formal female attire for social occasions. It is traditionally a full-skirted gown reaching the floor, made of luxurious fabric, delicately and exotically trimmed. Most versions are cut off the shoulder with decollete necklines. Such gowns are typically worn with a stole (a formal shawl in expensive fabric), cape or cloak in lieu of a coat, "good" (couture or vintage) jewellery and opera-length gloves...

Bed gown

bed gown (sometimes bed jacket or short gown) is an article of women's clothing for the upper body, usually thigh-length and wrapping or tying in front.
Bed gowns of lightweight printed cotton fabric were fashionable at-home morning wear in the 18th century. Over time, bed gowns (also called in this context short gowns) became the staple upper garment of British and American female working-class street wear from the 18th to early 19th centuries, worn over petticoats and often topped with an apron. Made of sturdy cotton, linen,wool or linsey-woolsey, these bed gowns were simply cut to a T-shaped pattern, and were worn overlapped in front or with the front skirts cutaway.

Evening gown

An evening gown or gown is a long flowing women's dress usually worn to a semi-formal or formal affair. It ranges from tea and ballerina to full-length. Evening gowns are usually made of luxurious fabrics such as chiffonvelvetsatinorganza, etc. Silk is a popular fibre for many evening gowns. Although the terms are used interchangeably, ball gowns and evening gowns differ in that a ball gown will always have a full skirt and a fitted bodice; in contrast, an evening gown can be any silhouette—sheathmermaidA-line or trumpet shaped—and may have a empire or dropped waist.

Night gown

nightgownnightie or nightdress is a loosely hanging item of nightwear, today almost exclusively worn by women. A nightgown is made from cotton, silk, satin, or nylon and may be decorated with lace appliques or embroidery at the bust and hem.[1]
A nightgown may have any neckline, and may have sleeves of any type, or be sleeveless, and any shoulder strap or back style. The length of a nightgown may vary from hip-length to floor-length. A short nightgown can be called a "shortie" or a "babydoll", depending on the style. A slip nightgown may be used as a nightgown or as a full slip. Nightgowns may be worn with a matching outer garment, a robe, sheer chiffon peignoir ordressing gown, to make them appropriate for receiving guests.

Tea gown

Every one knows that a tea-gown is a hybrid between a wrapper and a ball dress. It has always a train and usually long flowing sleeves; is made of rather gorgeous materials and goes on easily, and its chief use is not for wear at the tea-table so much as for dinner alone with one's family. It can, however, very properly be put on for tea, and if one is dining at home, kept on for dinner. Otherwise a lady is apt to take tea in whatever dress she had on for luncheon, and dress after tea for dinner. One does not go out to dine in a tea-gown except in the house of a member of one's family or a most intimate friend. One would wear a tea-gown in one's own house in receiving a guest to whose house one would wear a dinner dress...

Wedding gown

wedding dress or wedding gown is the clothing worn by a bride during a wedding ceremony. Color, style and ceremonial importance of the gown can depend on the religion and culture of the wedding participants. In Western cultures, brides often choose a white wedding dress, which was made popular by Queen Victoria in the 19th century. In eastern cultures, brides often choose red to symbolize auspiciousness...
